Mini Mountaineers
Check-in is open from 10am to 10:25am and your child will be placed in a suitable group by the instructors at the start of the session, ensuring they ski with others at their skill level, giving everyone the best chance to progress.
Groups will aim to be outside by 10:30am for morning skiing. Most of the day is spent skiing out on the slopes, however the day is also centered on having fun so the groups will make snowmen, play in the snow just outside our ski school centre and have breaks inside with hot chocolate as the children need them.
Lunch is provided in the Children’s Centre from 12:45pm to 1:45pm. Children enrolled for full day lessons will then return outside to continue skiing for the remainder of the day. If you have any special requests please let your child’s instructor know and they will be glad to accommodate.
Alpine Explorers/ Shredders
Check-in is open from 10:15am to 10:25am with lessons beginning at 10:30am. Your child’s instructor will check their ability and goals with them and with you. They will then match each day’s program to give them the best possible experience, together with the other children in the group. If you have any special requests please let your child’s instructor know and they will be glad to accommodate.
Supervised lunch is included each day at one of the restaurants in the Akakura Kanko Resort, usually between 1pm to 1:45pm.
The priority of our children’s group lessons is “SAFETY, FUN and LEARNING!” in that order.
