Should I book in advance?
We recommend booking well before your arrival to ensure availability, particularly from the 20th of December to mid-February. Please contact our team at akakura@myokosnowsports.com if you have any questions.
Do your shop staff speak English?
Yes, while our team is made up of individuals from many countries around the world, including Japan, all our services are offered in English.
Do you rent goggles and gloves?
No, we do not offer rental for goggles or gloves for sanitary reasons. Therefore, we ask you to purchase these before or once you arrive in Myoko. We have a retail shop in our rental store with a selection of goggles and gloves you can purchase.
My child has their own boots, should we bring them, or rent?
If your child has their own boots we recommend bringing them.
Is your equipment waxed and tuned?
Yes. We have expert equipment technicians and our equipment is kept in excellent condition. Skis and snowboards are waxed after every rental period and are checked for any tuning requirements.
Do you have powder / performance equipment available for children aged 10 to 14?
Yes, we do stock a range of children’s powder skis that are suitable for children of lower advanced to expert level.
Can my child swap equipment during our stay and is there a fee?
